A Quiet Invitation

If you’ve found this letter, I believe it’s not by accident. Perhaps God brought you here, at just the right moment.

Our world feels noisy right now — full of anger, fear, confusion, and division. The headlines, the conversations, the endless stream of opinions can leave us restless, anxious, even hardened.

But maybe this is the moment to step back. To stop speaking, stop scrolling, stop shouting — and simply be still.

I invite you to set aside a few minutes today for silence and prayer. Pray for those you love, yes — but also for those with whom you disagree. Pray for peace in our homes, our communities, and our nation. Pray for wisdom, compassion, and courage to put God before our own pride, preferences, and public opinions.

This isn’t about retreating from the world. It’s about re-centering our lives — putting God before self — and grounding ourselves in the One who made the world, who holds it in His hands, and who alone can bring lasting peace.

If you are here, I believe God is calling you — right now — to pause, to pray, and to trust Him.

John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
